Me and my fiance have been trying to conceive for about a year now. We really want a baby and have had no success. Please some help!

Unless you are starving or REALLY malnourished, your diet has nothing to do with your ability or inability to conceive.

If you’ve been trying for over a year, it’s time to consult a doctor for a fertility evaluation. If you have blocked tubes or he has a low sperm count, there are no magic foods that will cure the problem.

In the meantime … while you’re waiting for your appointment … yeah, chocolates good. It won’t make you conceive any faster, but you’ll feel better about life in general.

What is your personal story? I myself have PCOS, was trying to conceive from June til December, then went on Dianette for 3 months, have come off again since Saturday and have started cutting down the calories a bit and eating a little healthier to lose weight. I am about 21 pounds overweight.
So what’s your story?

Tried 8 months then found out I have PCOS. On Clomid 1st cycle got lucky. Baby stopped growing on week 8, didn’t find out till week 12’s ultrasound…devastated…can’t describe the feeling when we were so excited to see the baby on the screen and doctor tell you this. Had D&E that week. Physically healed very well, mentally still very very sad. After 2 months of break, back on Clomid. Nothing, this is the 3rd month on Clomid, also had IUI. Took HPT yesterday, no go again. Baby dust. One day… just one day.

Hi I am looking for advice on the best on what to do when trying to conceive. I am looking for my sister. She is trying to have a baby and she has tried for awhile with no results. What would you suggest for someone trying to make a little bundle of joy. Thanks everyone!

First off make sure she has had a gyno check-up lately.
get her to start charting her cycle ei:taking temps every morning, checking cervical mucus and just monitoring symptoms in general.
Also, suggest a good book on fertility-my favorite is "Taking charge of Your Fertility".
It’s very informative and helps out alot.
you might tell her about Ovulation Predicting Tests if she hasn’t already tried them.
The key is to relax(yeah right)and just really know your body and have good timing.
Hope this helps:)
